DESCRIPTION: The glove is specifically designed and constructed for wildland firefighting activities. It is manufactured of material designed to withstand the effects of flame, heat, sharp objects and other hazards that are encountered during widlland firefighting operations.

The gloves meets or exceed the National Fire Protection Association, NFPA-I 977 standard “Protective Clothing and Equipment for Wildland Fire Fighting” 2005 Edition.

Documentation by Underwriters Laboratories, an independent certified testing laboratory, can be submitted to verify our gloves meet or exceed the NFPA 1977(2005 Edition). Third party certification is required to verify that gloves pass all the following parameters:

• Grip Test
• Conductive Heat Resistance
• Thermal Protective Performance (TPP)
• Cut Resistance
• Puncture Resistance

CONSTRUCTION: Our gloves meet or exceed all the required standards mentioned above.

DESIGN: Thermal split leather, gunn cut, wing thumb, unlined, five-fingered glove. The back of glove has an elastic snugger band in the wrist area for secure fit. Thermal split leather welting is sewn on palm side of the two middle fingers for additional support. A thermal split leather patch shall be sewn in the thumb crotch area to alleviate stress of high wear. A continuous index finger construction is be used to eliminate exposed seams or stitching. A leather hang-up loop is provided on inside of glove to facilitate drying and storage.

MATERIALS: Outer Leather shell Thermal split cow leather of not less than 3 oz or more than 3 . oz. Each glove is uniform in color.Welting is not less than 3 oz or more than 3 . oz. Leather is tanned to resist cracking, peeling, and stiffening and processed to reduce slipperiness when wet.

LINER: The glove is unlined.

CUFF: The wristlet style is made of 100% Nomex material two ply, a minimum of 4” long. A leather pull patch to cover the inner wrist area is sewn to the wristlet to ensure ease of donning and to provide extra wrist protection.

STITCHING: All outer stitching is of heat resistant Kevlar 30/3 thread with a minimum of 8 stitches per inch.
